Shelby 427 1965 Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Okay so anyone that saw the WIP knows the story.. Found this kit in a shed, my da had started it, I stripped it down, parts were broken/missing.. I attempted to resurrect it. Was my first go at scratchbuilding, it's not great but it was a free practice I guess. Check out the WIP for a rough idea of how much I did. This was also my first go with BMF for trim. First time trying to make rust and I'm dead proud of how it came out. The roof is badly skewed outta place too. I wasn't gonna put this up but I decided what the hell. Thanks for following and looking!
mnwildpunk Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Hey I all got to start somewhere. If I were you I'd be darn proud of it looks good the little spots of rust are a nice touch. I also like where you took your outdoor pictures thumbs up
kalbert Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 That restoration is in need of a restoration! There's alot of cars around here that were hastily 'restored' 20-30 years ago that are showing their age a little bit, you captured the look pretty well.
slusher Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Great save, thats a sharp build. Very nice touch on the wheels and nice foil work...
Joker Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Thanks for sharing the shed save Tomo. I enjoy looking at your outdoor pixs the best. Your Da must be proud. Keep building and posting.. Joker
