Blackwolf Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Hi all I'm kind of old school when I first started building them as a kid,and used the tester paint with a regular hobby brush. But If I was to scuff the model panels and other parts will I still need the adhesion promoter to use my water base paints like wicked and trident paints.? Thanks a lot in advance.
Deathgoblin Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I use water based paints over primer for some things. Anything but the body is typically fine.
Blackwolf Posted March 22, 2013 Author Posted March 22, 2013 Thank you Deathgoblin That's what I'm working on now is the body of a 55 Ford F-100.
Guest G Holding Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Use a good primer, most WB will work over a primer base....I use Auto Air with Duplacolor lacquer base
