VW Dave Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 It all depends on what kind of big block Chevy you're after, but here's my thoughts: ** Any of the newer Revell '69 Camaros - Yenko, Motion, etc. can provide a nice stockish BBC(the Motion '70 Chevelle too) ** The above mentioned 3-in-1 Revell '70 Chevelle has a great blower setup as an option

This kit was built by Dave McGowan http://www.showrods.com/gallery_pages/2002_contest/badman_iv.html I've seen one done with the Monogram '53. I can't find one of those but started thinking maybe something else, maybe a '56 or a '57 and why not get the engine correct this time , 396 cu. in. ? Edited March 25, 2013 by Greg Myers
Guest Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 (edited) For a 1/24 big block Chevy, I would go with the engine from the Monogram '70 Chevelle SS. The '66 Malibu (Chevelle) SS has a nice engine, but it has a plate on the front. I used the '70 engine, '66 valve covers and the kit blower in this "Badman" '55. P.S. I like your idea! How about a newer model Chevy as a "Badman"? Maybe a '70 Chevelle itself? Edited March 26, 2013 by plowboy
