stripping metallic paints

Any ideas on strippin it off? Tried o clnr..b fluid..amazing brand cleaner. None cleans it off. Even tried sanding with cleaner& fluid. Any advice? Thx for any suggestions. Woody

If it's Testors One Coat lacquer, I haven't found anything that will take it off without buggering the plastic.

Bill I've had success removing Testors One Coat paints using Scalecoat.

91% rubbing alcohol works well for removing Testors One Coat without hurting the plastic.

Have no idea of what was used on this body. Was given to me by a friend. Had same problem with t bucket & gold touch up paint. Seems as if it burns its way. Even primer under it. Thx for the replys. Woody
