chrismooney Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Ok you have all seen the 59 and thanks for all the nice remarks. Now here is the group shot of my 59 and 57. The 1957 is a R&R kit that comes with Body, Interior, "glass", and bumper. A nice kit but the bumper came chromed but the front had some fish eye's (a bad chrome job but I used it) it still looks good. Paint is the Krylon Sweet Cream over Banner Red. and trim is BMF. These were built to represent a Fire Depts. Two Ambulances as found in the late 50’s Thanks for looking.
Modelmartin Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 You are a brave man! To take on a Flintstone AND an R & R is amazing. You did a great job. Those are both very nice-looking models.
Steve H. Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 They're both absolute beauties! Well done, sir!
mr moto Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Beautiful work! I know how challenging R&R and some other resin bodies can be but your work makes it look like perfection. Just one little nitpick. Am I the only one old enough to remember that amber turn signals didn't start until '63? Maybe I'll get old enough to forget it soon!

Thanks for the nice coments. the resin can be a pain in the A$$ and for the turn signals. im only 26 so I really dont know just had to make you feel older. But if thats the case i can cver them with white paint of Bare metal foil. thanks for the tip
