Count Dragula Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Hello fellow model entusiasts. I am a new member here. I just wanted to inform everyone here NOT to bid on a kit that the auction ends on today(10/14). I was shill bid on the kit last time it was listed, and the seller mencar65 attempted to sell me the kit outside of ebay with SEVERAL false second chance offers. An official second chance offer has a "Buy it now" that the seller sends to another bidder on that kit.Mencar65 never did that to me. The item is listed as Monogram'57 chevy outcast nice. It's a vintage Tom Daniel kit. I am a member of other model forums, and they all told me to spread the word to as many modelers as possible.I did report the seller and winning bidder to ebay, and ebay did absolutely NOTHING!!!
MrObsessive Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Hey thanks for the heads up! I was looking at the auction you're talking about. When you contacted eBay, did you forward the emails that he sent you? They may have given him a warning if this is the first instance without notifying you. BTW, I see that you're a newbie, so it's a real good idea to put your real name in your signature area, lest you get pulled over by Sheriff Jairus. You can go to "My Controls" and then "Edit Signature" to do that.
