Both Porsches look great guys - excellent work.

Progress on my McLaren, almost ready to mate the body/chassis. Added some aftermarket seatbelts and apart from a cockup with the decals, all going well - it's a great kit. Spare decals on the way in the form of a second kit, have bought some aftermarket decals for a second version.

Thanks guys, got this finished now - it's such a good kit, I've already got another on the way to do the white Eurodatacar driven by Tappy/Demoustier. Had a minor snafu with the paint when attaching the body  but it will be displayed in my cabinet so only the good side shows <_<. The kit's revenge for me using the wrong shade of orange??

That McLaren looks great, Paul.

I finished my first ever set of p/e belts. Then I installed them on the roll bar and seat. I'm going to wait until I make some bolt heads for the anchor points before I install the roll bar.

I have a question for the more experienced out there. How do I get the belts to lay down like real ones??? I was thinking of using a bit of white glue on the back of them and holding them down until the glue sets.

I've been working on the dash. First pic....I used a silver marker to 'paint' the bezels and guage faces. Then I put the decals on. In the last pic, the bottom right gauge has had Testor's Clear Parts Cement and Window Maker put on to the guage. It was just done, so the cement hasn't dried and turned clear yet.

That dash is very impressive Paul, looks very realistic (as does the rest of your work!).

Got my second McLaren started, painted it during the week and most of the aftermarket decals applied today.
