Model glue is a solvent that penetrates and dissolves polystyrene plastic...at least the toxic variety is. It won't just come off because it's etched itself into the surface of the model.

The only "yellowish" glue I've encountered on a gluebomb appeared to be contact cement, and the EasyOff oven cleaner I used to strip the paint also took off the yellow glue.

The one i had with yellow stuff on it took a couple or three applications of oven cleaner, each allowed to soak for at least a couple of hours (in a plastic bag), and then scrubbed with a toothbrush, Comet and hot water.

I can't guarantee it will work on yours.

I have encountered yellowish glue on old built-ups before and usually it will flake off if you start cutting at it with a knife. YMMV.
