Volkswagen Golf Mk.II GTI 16V

[Shelby 427 1965]

Built mostly box stock.

Steering wheel taken from a Tamiya Mazda MX-5.

Wheels from a Fujimi Mercedes 190E.

Colour: Tamiya Mica Red.

Based on pretty much exactly how I want mine to look in a year or so's time.

I cut open the sunroof, first one I've seen it done on.

Tried to give it a little wear and tear around the rear bumper, so it's sitting slightly askew with rough paint where it used to be.

There's an annoying fitment issue on the hood.

It's not my best but I'm pleased with it.
