Inspired by LOBBS recent topic about an LS engine, I was wondering how to turn a modern V8, like Chevy's LS, into a twin turbo engine. I would like to use aftermarket turbo's and not make them myself.

What turbo's would be usable? Does anyone sell these in pairs and are there exhaust manifolds available for a setup like this?

One question is also important to me: are the left bank turbo and the right bank turbo exactly the same, or do they 'mirror' (if you know what I mean) each other?

Thank you!

I know, this might be a "how to"question as well as an aftermarket one...

Mirrored turbos are rarely to seen in the real world as they are much, much more expensive.

Most real world folks just clock them to adjust for intake and exhaust angles

Do a google or bing search for twin turbo v-8's and you'll see a multitude of clocked dual turbos and a handful

mirrored ones but man do the mirrored ones look great.

I got my turbos from TDR Innovation, they were 1/16th but I'm pretty sure they have them in smaller scales.

Beautiful pieces.

Just for grins, here is a pic of my Po-Leece car WIP with a twice turbo 440....
