Freeman Cars Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Here's a new '50 Olds Custom I have in the works. It will have slanted B-pillars. I may ad some other custom parts with it. This is my 4th new car this year since getting back into resin casting. Thanks for looking, Sam
jeffs396 Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Very cool Sam! Please create a signature & put a linky in it so we have a place to go to check out your castings
Freeman Cars Posted June 12, 2013 Author Posted June 12, 2013 I'll post pictures of my other cars soon. Nash metro promod, VW single cap transporter promod, '32 Ford fuel alterd, Kellison J4 sports car, and Nash metro station wagon. I have access to one of the two metro station wagons built. It'll be my first real replica stock casting. Sam
Eshaver Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Sam, being as you're going to do a stock Nash metropolitan, you might wish to make it complete as possible . Finding a Hubley Nash kit these days , uh nearly impossible . Why not also offer a convertible , they were popular back in the day ...............

I already make a stock metropolitan you can make as a convertible or with a hard top. It's basically a copy of the Hubley kit. I just have to make vacuum form windows, wheels, and tires. Also sell it without the wheels and tires for people who want to do something else. If you want an original Hubley kit, I think the Nash metropolitan museum in North Hollywood still has some for sale. Sam
realgone58 Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Custom Olds looks good so far. I really want to build a stock 4 door, but no one is doing a 4 door resin. I keep following the original promos from Cruver on evilbay, but they get way out of hand quickly.

I know last nash kit I saw was on model roundup it was a rambler sedan or coupe it was 130 dollors I believe
themoonman1952 Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Hi Sam How do i get hold of one of your resin nash pro mods please? Cheers Bruce Swallow NEW ZEALAND
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 (edited) Your project looks really good...nice lines. I started out to do much the same thing fairly soon after the '50 Olds hit the market, got as far as a stock fastback mashup, and ran out of time. Edited May 31, 2015 by Ace-Garageguy
vintagercr Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Sam, that is going to look good. You need to cast the rims from the Black Force
