Altered Visions Customs Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 Some more stuff I made for this project
MikeyB08 Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Looking good!! Would love to see how you make those wheels...
Altered Visions Customs Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 So i thought i would post all the build pics of this truck hope you guys enjoy them let me tell you there are a lot this is my concept drawing, the kit i started with, and the first step i did i cut off the running boards so i could lay rockers
Altered Visions Customs Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 (edited) this is how i cut the body up to get the basic shape of the truck Edited June 17, 2013 by Altered Visions Customs
Altered Visions Customs Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 Looking good!! Would love to see how you make those wheels... Thanks man, I will have pics up of how I made the rims and everything else on this truck asap im starting at the begining so give me a lil bit
Altered Visions Customs Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 the size rim i wanted to use wouldnt let the truck lay out so i cut the body n added a piece of styrene so i could tuck the rims in the fenders and still lay out
Altered Visions Customs Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 i shaved the taillights and tailgate, and built a rollpan out of sheet styrene then cut the interior bucket up n use the back piece for the rear cargo section and filled in the gap where the old window sat
Altered Visions Customs Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 this is how I made the rear body panels I drew a patteren on a index card cut it out traced it on sheet styrene cut it out layered it on the body and blocked it into shape
Altered Visions Customs Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 I did the same process as the rear for the front fenders this was to get them roughed in so i could see how i was going to make the frontend
Altered Visions Customs Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 this is the hood i made same process as before, and i also started roughing in the headlights at this point
POKAFONTES Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Really cool idea man. I like the way this is coming. Love seeing crazy body mods. Not to mention that engin set up. Keep it coming.
Altered Visions Customs Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 this is how i made the front bumper keep in mind i didnt want it to be exactly stock just subtle changes so anyway i sectioned the bumper from a 1500 silverado into three pieces n added styrene to widen it out to the width of the new fenders, added pieces of styrene under the headlight area n the side of the bumper to get the shape right and to shave the bumper into the fenders then blocked it all into shape at this point i was just tryin to get everything roughed into shape
crazyjim Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Whoa, dude!! Make a few modifications, why don't you? Looks fantastic!!!!!

Altered Visions Customs Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 I made some bucket seats out of the front bucket/bench seats of a dodge superbird, and started cutting down the interior bucket for mock up none of the interior is complete just getting it mocked up at this point i have a full custom interior planned for her
Altered Visions Customs Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 this is the rearend i widened the pro street rearend out of the same superbird kit the seats came out of,and a shot of everything so far mocked up together
Altered Visions Customs Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 this is how i made the lower bars for the triangulated four-link,I made them out of aluminum tubing and the brackets are made out of square styrene tubing
