Greg Myers Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I have a few Chargers and a bunch of those great 289 Cobras.
Greg Myers Posted June 18, 2013 Author Posted June 18, 2013 This was the only other kit in the series they are both very detailed, unlike the AMT promo style chassis.
Edsel-Dan Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 And, These are MONOGRAM, from Before the merger/take over! I have 2 of the Cobra. Monogram did a set of nicely detailer glue 1/32 kits that Does include 1 69 Charger in 2 versions. As well as a 69era Nova, and Ford EXP 2-seater I have the Stock Charger molded in Orange! The Street Machine version was molded in green (Almost a Neon) Parts for both stock & street machine are in Both issues. Tires in these kits are rubber/vinyl not styrene as in their Snap Tite series!!
Austin T Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I recently picked up both kits in a large amout of parts from a buddy of mine and I love those little things, I can't believe they come with photo etch.
Edsel-Dan Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I believe they had Photo-etch due to the Small size, and Monogram wanted maximum Detail
cobraman Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Here's a build up of the Cobra I did when the kits first came out.
Darin Bastedo Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 The photo etch sheet does make one mistake. The Side-pipe covers aren't supposed to have slots in them. the "slots" are actually painted on the real car.
