Guest Johnny Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 I'll the people who let those car rust & rot away are the type that would kick their dog. That is about a redneck comment as I have seen here yet. Maybe more apt to be the dog kicker in my opinion. The car it theirs to do with what they choose. To most it is a dream that more than likely will never come true but it is still "their" dream and no one has a right to fault them for it. To many there is some sentimental attachment to it and that is why they just cannot let go. Like others I hate to see it happen but I can understand that some things have no price.
Gramps2u Posted July 15, 2013 Author Posted July 15, 2013 (edited) I am a fan of the Aesthetically abandoned automobile! One instance I was in a farmers wooded salvage area searching through his collection of vehicles and came across an old 60 Chevy impala wagon looked as if it were simply parked and forgotten about. The keys still in the ignition, As well as a HUGE hornets nest inside... & the farmers Billy goat & not to forget "Rover" the German short hair that had been lurking about in the weeds. When I disturbed the hornets The race was on! Me in the lead, a swarm of hornets close second, Billy the goat bucking for a close third and the leg polishing barking dog in in forth. The farmer got a kick out of it. Yes the dogs name was Rover. I did out run them all, barely. FYI, Never trust a Billy goat in a salvage yard . Edited July 15, 2013 by Gramps2u
Guest Johnny Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Billy will watch and wait, he is patient and great aim!
Gramps2u Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 LOL That was one mean old ornery goat! LOL and there wasn't a GTO in sight!
Guest Johnny Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Lady that lived next door to a small shop I was working for had three. I went head to head with one once when I bent over to pick up tools I was using to pull parts out in the back forty. Didn't know what the heck happened for about ten minutes! The boss caught it in the other end and had a hard time sitting down for dang near a month! Unfortunately for the goat he had a concealed carry permit!
