ScaleDale Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 (edited) Yeah, actually I found that already, and then there is one 1:1 in the garage too, so I can check out some specs there as well. Nothing beats a 1:1 in the garage! Lucky you! Dale Edited July 23, 2013 by ScaleDale
W-409 Posted July 23, 2013 Author Posted July 23, 2013 Heh that's true. It's actually my father's car, but I have driven it a couple of times...Really neat car, and it has been on our family since 1987 when it arrived to Finland from Texas.
ScaleDale Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 ^^^I went through your Finnish drag Racing thread and was surprised to see the number of US muscle cars that find their way over the Atlantic to a new home. I knew drag racing was big in Australia and the muscle cars there didn't surprise me after Mad Max and all, but Finland?By the way, there was a West Coast Championship, right? Is there even an East Coast there? Too lazy to look it up...Dale
W-409 Posted July 24, 2013 Author Posted July 24, 2013 Yeah you are right, American Cars are quite popular in here. On the local Cruising Nights there can be over 200 cars. Our family has three cars, and all of them are American. Yep, West Coast Street Cup is basically for street cars, though there is a class called ET Bracket too, and many times there are real race cars also. WCSC is driven on Airports, but those races sure are a lot of fun. East Coast, no in the East, there is Russia.
