stump Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Hi Clay, Niko had a similar query below relating to the construction of a ProMod body. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=77219 Some great advice in there from some very talented guys, Wayne has even added some pics of bodies he has/is modifying which show how much they can get altered.
ScaleDale Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I'm in the process of converting a stock Mustang into a Pro Stock and have narrowed and lengthened the body. Here is a link to the thread.http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=76723Dale
brett Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I know these two are funnycars but the body mods are basically the same http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=46150&st=0 http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=57847&hl=
ScaleDale Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Brett: Outstanding body and paint work on those cars. Are the blue flames on the T-bird decal or free hand airbrush?Dale
brett Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Thanks Dale, they're airbrushed with a simple curve template, I've since got some closer to scale real fire style curves (home made), did these drumsticks for my stepdaughter's, boyfriends birthday last April
