raildogg Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Will he ever update his site or have someone do it for him. Every single time I want to order stuff it's out of stock. This has been the case for more than a year now ,maybe even longer. Is anyone in contact with him.? I know, that balancing a day job and a side line is tough but, not updating has cost him business many times over now. He has had stuff one can only find on his site, but then one cannot purchase it because" it's out of stock". This is not the only site that I have seen references to this issue. What's up 'Kraut!!!!!
george 53 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 If a vendor DOESN'T reply to you, he DOESN'T want your buisness! ALL REPUTABLE vendor WILL reply to a question. Guys like Ed Fluck Jr, although he doesn't do alot of selling anymore, but even if he's NOT doing GREAT buisness, He's still doin buisness and he WILL repy to quieries on his products. THAT is the mark of a GOOD and REPUTABLE vendor. Not guys who say their bringin out a Station wagon that'sbeing asked for, then just DISSAPEAR for the SECOND time, and leavein those who ordered just holdin the bag. Too many UNREPUTABLE CLOWNS makes the GOOD guys work harder or loose customers because some OTHER resin caster stole from them. Too many clowns out there just WAITIN to lure an unsuspecting customer!!!!

Chief Joseph Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 My opinion is that if they aren't at least a semi-active participant on the forums, or on Facebook, or some other version of social media, then they aren't really that serious about selling. Lots of guys like the idea of selling hobby items but they don't realize how much work it actually is to sell hobby items.
chris02719 Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I know that there are people who sold him resin in the past that won't be doing anymore. I know the reasons I was given, but don't want to post them here. It would be nice to see him restock his other lines, as it was easier to order from him than from some of the resin companies he carried. Unfortunately there aren't many alternatives out there. Hoping that either he or someone else steps up to the plate.
raildogg Posted July 24, 2013 Author Posted July 24, 2013 He "sells" big rig truck parts that are mostly out of stock.
