Len Woodruff Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Bill (or anyone) how much thinner do you add so you can spray this clear?
Jairus Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 I shoot 50/50. I don't use their thinner, but instead use Isopropyl Alcohol and warm the paint in a pan of hot tap water.
MrObsessive Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Jairus does the opposite of what I do.......... I always use their thinner as I've used Isopropyl Alcohol in the past and have had a problem with fisheyes. I can't give you an exact ratio of what I use to mix it with.............I just go with what "looks" and "feels" right. But a 50/50 ratio sounds about right.
MrObsessive Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 To add to this, I would strongly recommend a dehydrator! Drying on their own you can't expect it to be dry well into the next millenium! About 8 hours or so should do the trick at about 105°......
