Tom, to my knowledge , the only 1-24th piece I have seen to date has been a Die Cast from Welley. It looks really wide to me and I used to manufacture Custom parts for those trucks too.

AFAIK the only bi-scale early Econolines are the Jada 1/24 die-cast models (I think these are what Ed was referring to), which are offered in pickup, panel, and Falcon(?) passenger/window versions. They look decent, and would be a great starting point for a resin conversion, but the die-cast doors open, so the gaps and fit to the body would need to be reworked, any inaccuracies/compromises fixed, and a whole new everything else, short of the powertrains. Lots of work for sure.

I'd make one if someone were able to provide measurements. It's a pretty straightforward body, as far as contours go.

no pics. one of our fantastic master builders showed it to me a few years ago, but he has a very successful business to run and doesnt get to the bench often

I WAS GOING TO BUY ONE OF THOSE JADA P UPS, DID SOMEONE POST THAT THEY WERE TOO WIDE BY 1/4"?

THANKS FOR THE PM ED, I MIGHT BUY ONE OF THE JADA PICK UPS, I JUST DON'T KNOW IF I HAVE THE SKILL TO REMOVE .250 FROM THE CENTER & HAVE IT GO BACK TOGETHER WELL :)
