Beach Bum Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 I feel like a little kid asking this but do all you model masters glue your wheels in place to the axle or leave them free spinning. Seems to me that gluing them in place would be better and If I ever complete a model it's not likely that I'm going to be rolling it around on the floor. Thanks
my80malibu Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 In my early modeling years.I didn't glue them it was easier to play with them on the carpet then. Now I don't do that anymore,my wife and kids get embarrassed when I do.
cobraman Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 I always glue mine. I don't play with them and don't want them rolling around off a shelf. The only exception is when they mount with the old metal axels. I don't glue those. Sometimes gluing them is the only way to make them stay up straight and not look like they wobble.
Beach Bum Posted August 5, 2013 Author Posted August 5, 2013 HAHA, my wife doesn't give me the evil smurk anymore every time I by another model supply, I'd like to keep it that way. If I start making vroomvroom sounds while I'm building I'm sure it would return!
