hey joe. glad to hear from you. the lines are black on the 1:1 car. to be honest, with the cost of braided line. i couldn't see putting it on and then making it black. you'll be hard pressed to see all of this stuff any way.

how's it goin' in your neck of the woods?

got a little more done to the dry sump. i hope the pics are clear enough for you guys trying to learn about plumbing a dry sump system. put the oil filter on.

Makes sense Dave, Not going bad down here. Really tired of this Dam snow allready lol, I really need to start building something. Either a promod or i'd like to do an outlaw radial car, just trying to get ahold of a certain 1/16th kit for the radial car.

Hi Dave... just found this build today and have been dumbstruck by the pics! :D

I had a question or two: Where is the body from? I probably missed it in the text but I was blinded by the awesome pics.

Also are there any more of your 1/8th builds to be followed and ideas stolen from?

GREAT WORK! :o

chuck, i'm glad you found the build. after i measured and did a rough drawing of the actual body. i had a 3-d artist i brazil do a 3-d rendering. then a company called tdr turned the rendering into a file that could be 3-d printed. finally a company called shapeways 3-d printed the body. tdr now offers the body for sale.

here is my photo bucket. it contains alot of my builds. i hope you find something worthwhile. hehe.

Dave.... these updates are just amazing my friend. This engine just keeps getting better and better. I love the detailing you are doing, you are capturing every little thing possiblr and Iblove seeing this come together.

I can't wait for the super secret project. I am still waiting for the chassis builder to get dimensions back to me.

Awesome! It goes without saying that if these pictures were framed against another background that didn't give away its size, it could easily pass for the real thing. I love your work, Dave... Super job.
