Would any of you great modelers be so kind as to post some sources you know of for 1/16 or 1/18 scale drag slicks and front runners??....I'm re-working a Grumpy Jenkins Vega diecast in 1/18 and am looking for very specific sizes due to wheel well clearances;

Rear Slicks; 1 1/2" O.D. x 3/4" wide

Front Runners; 1 1/4" O.D. x 1/4" or 3/8" wide

Also, any sources for the old Cragar aluminum spun wheels in 1/16 maybe??....Having zero luck on ebay or from the two sources I know of.

Any help would be appreciated....Thanks in advance!!!

Thanks Cobraman....Actually I did find some front runners from the GMP Marcellus & Borsch fuel altered that should match the

1 1/4" outside diameter I need but had to buy them as a set with the rear slicks which are way too big for the Vega....I'll end up stashing those for future use on something else....

Still looking for 1 1/2" dia. x 3/4" wide rear slicks, couldn't find any by GMP or Acme....Most or their 1/18 slicks are either too large in diameter or too narrow in width....Don't have much wiggle room because of the wheel well size.

Any other sources anyone can think of??....Thanks again....

You can check with Terry at Flashpoint Motorsport Resins. He has a few different rear slicks as well as good year front runners in 1/16 scale. They are very nice. I have a few sets of each myself.

Hey thanks Chris....Have been getting back into the hobby over the last year and a half or so after a long 15 year plus layoff and doing a few builds as well as tweaking/upgrading some drag diecast which I enjoy putzing around with when I don't have time to build....

Gotta say, I stand amazed at the level of craftsmanship you and some others on this board are achieving....Hope to get there myself someday and work like yours is a real inspiration....This is a great board and source of info, glad I found it!!!

Lee... You are welcome. Looking forward to seeing some of your builds. Thanks for the kind words on my builds. I have learned a lot from many of the great builders on this forum. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
