another way is to take two part epoxy clay or putty, roll up some and form into long "threads" of putty making them as small as you need, then once in place, take a blade or toothpick and push into the putty to form the weld beads.

Don't try Cranky Welds with anything more powerful than a battery operated soldering tool. take this from experience.

The Milliput idea sounds great! Another use for that stuff. Thanks!
