MAGNUM4342 Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 My hope here is that someone is doing a sheet of keyways for 1/25-1/24th scale cars. Or am I going to have to just pick a detail sheet that happens to have them?
Ramfins59 Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Kevin, I've never seen a PE sheet of just keyholes. Most PE sets from MCG have at least a couple of them on the frets, and, the sheet of chrome pieces in the Galaxie Chevy's has a couple.
futurattraction Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Kevin, Have you thought about using a really small-headed straight pin? Those are what I include in my Fairmont body kits. The heads of the ones I use are around .052 OD and have just a touch of crown to them. The shaft on them is ~.020. I could send a few to you if you want. Scott
MAGNUM4342 Posted September 10, 2013 Author Posted September 10, 2013 How many do you need, Kevin? Sorry for getting back so late gents. Casey I need three right now but ultimately I'll need a total of six. Kevin, Have you thought about using a really small-headed straight pin? Those are what I include in my Fairmont body kits.
