Ford C-600 question

Hey all,

Quick question, Round 2 just reissued the old Ford C-600 truck with Pepsi markings,

I have the old NAPA version and that one didn't have a chrome tree...

I was just wondering if

1) Does the new reissue have a chrome tree?

2) if so, where can I get one?

I'd like to add some pizzaz to my NAPA version...

Ian, my guess it's pretty much a straight re- issue . The wheels were chrome , so was the diesel tank set up . Not too many Fords used Chrome wagon wheels if any . In fact , I stripped the chrome off the tanks cause I can't remember ever seeing such a Ford with a chrome tank.

The C-600 stake truck has the chrome parts too.

I know the c900 tractor has a full crome tree in it but painted over my wheels and tanks on my convertion

Hummmmmm, looks like the same tree that the A M T Post office truck an trailer had and the Stake body had too...........

Chrome spoke wheels just look wrong on any truck. Or you could do like the Australians do: keep the wheel rims chrome (polished aluminum)

and paint the spokes and hubs.
