Platerpants
Scratch Built dually fenders just started this project today. Its gonna have stacks and hopefully i can make this engine resemble a 6.2 or 6.5 diesel. Its going to be International Harvester red. The kit's optional window visor will be used. hopefully it will turn out nice. Oh yeah the fenders are made of sheet plastic traced from my brother's stepside fender from his amt 55 stepside to make them. Also expect to see a 50 ford pickup project come up soon it will be IH red also not sure on what kind of plans are in store for it though. Platerpants
Well started on my 4x4 suspension and engine, yes the turbo is made from a horn and a carb glued together. Still gotta make a transfercase and make sure my suspension will sit level. The front axle started as the rear axle from a ford lightning. Platerpants
Its fenders have been primed, and the inner bed painted but it takes 24 hours or more for tractor paint to dry so itll be a while before the body and outter bed are painted. Thatll give me time for the suspension and engine
Platerpants
Heres some paint and suspension progress. The second set of bedsides are for my 50 ford. I need to adjust my rear suspension to sit higher based on what ive seen. And if these pictures arent top quality and bother you just remember for under glass i use better cameras. I was planning on starting but hobby lobby didn't have any 55 chevy pickups so I bought a mono gram dodge instead needed something to do in case this flooding traps us in town again

Platerpants
That's looking nice. I like the stance. thanks, when i upgraded it to 4x4 with the solid front axle i had to make the rear end level and that meant sitting it up alot higher. Its my tallest pickup model now.
