Dave in Seattle Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 I've prowled around some, but nothing jumped out at me. Any kind of tutorial available? Dave
Harry P. Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 In order to post photos, they have to be uploaded to an online picture hosting site like Photobucket. If you don't have a Photobucket account, go there and set one up. It's easy and free. Once you have the account, create a photo album and upload all your pix to it. Once they are "parked" on the Photobucket site, all you need to do to post a picture here is to copy the photo's url (IMG code) and paste it here into your post.
dub Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 (edited) Is there any way to make a "sticky" thread at the top of "Tips, Trick and Ideas" with a tutorial about this? We get this question about once a month around here. It's not a big deal, but would be nice for all the newbies to computers to have at their disposal. I'll admit when I joined the board, I didn't know how to do anything but post text. I was fortunate to have others who asked the questions for me then that got the answers I needed. I just think it would be a good idea because most of these questions are posted by people who have looked but didn't find. As for other board utilities, all I've been doing is experimenting with different features and everythig is pretty easy. Just try something if you aren't sure, we're all patient people here.(if not, wrong hobby! ) p.s. Thanks Harry for the answer. Your advice is what helped me before. Edited November 6, 2007 by dub
