raildogg Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 O.K. I started a real donnybrook about tractors and truck stuff here so here's my latest deal. I recently went looking to find, and purchase, some 1/25 scale chain load binders in country. I came up wanting and disappointed.!! What gives, are there any on shore vendors anymore?. If this is the case, IMHO, no wonder it's hard for our guys to update their sites, they just don't care, period. I admit to a lack of web search titling abilities, when looking for stuff. So can anyone point me to an onshore PayPal using vendor for chain binders.?? I've even taken to having some wheel rims I was unable to locate 3D printed, instead of buying them from a vendor.
High octane Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Finding stuff for any kind of modeling gives you the "thrill of the hunt" and makes it interesting. Like finding and old out of production and rare kit, the right wheels, the right color, the right aftermarket goodies, etc.
Eshaver Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Richard, for a long time , finding 1-24th and 1-25th figures was probably the hardest thing for me to deal with . I like doing service station dioramas and I insist on being accurate with my stuff. I now have several sources here and a couple in of all places San Francisco California. A lot of stuff come up really mis categorized and as a result , isn't probably moving as it should . So, I agree , a lot of sites need a revamp if they ever expect to do a decent business .
Tesla Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I've visited resin online sites here in the U.S. that post a listing of their products but NO PICTURES! My personal belief is that a picture is worth more than a description.
