JZ14
Hey guys, This is my second model I've started. It's an Aoshima 1/24 BN Sports RX7 FC3s. I've always been a fan of Hariguchi FC, So I decided to style it off that. (Bar vinyl work because I only want to make street cars) Build pictures; I had purchased an Aoshima Aristo (From the Kiwami series) and it came with some sweet 19" Work Equips. I want to try and modify these (non pin type) to work with the chassis from the RX7 kit (pin type wheels). I've found my paint is quite orange peely? anyone know what may be doing wrong? Thanks for looking
Roadkill2525
The kit does come with hubs/brakes/etc. for both Male and Female wheels. The FC and FD kits use the same chassis so Aoshima includes both fitment types in the kits.
Kennyboy
REALLY like the yellow! Orange peel can be caused by many different things. Too much pressure, too cold, not enough reducer, or recoating too soon. Just to name a few. You can fix the finish by laying a couple of nice coats of clear, letting it cure, then wetsanding and polishing it out.
