JunkPile Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Is there any product available that could be used for touching-up (w/brush) bare plastic that sometimes is exposed after sanding primer from a high spot or be used for filling the last of those pesky deep sanding scratches? It seems to be kind of a waste to spray such small areas sometimes. Thanks, Chuck
Longbox55 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Tamiya has a brush on filler primer. It comes in the same style bottle as their Super Thin Cement, and has the same style brush on the cap. It seems to be a slighly thicker version of the gray fine primer.
JunkPile Posted September 19, 2013 Author Posted September 19, 2013 Thanks Bill. That is just what I'm looking for.
sbk Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Are you using rattle cans? If so, spray a little in a milk top, beer cap, or whatever & dip your paintbursh in it to apply.
Erik Smith Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 (edited) Gunze Sangyo has some brush on primer. I have used the 1000 and 500 and like them both. The 500 is thicker and works well for fine joint lines, etc. 500 is called "Mr Surfacer", 1000 is "Mr Surfacer Primer" Edited September 20, 2013 by Erik Smith
