dh1908
OK all you trucker guys. Does anyone know anything about a 1/32 scale Jet Powered Semi called "Shockwave"? A friend of mine has the kit that was issued by AMT/Ertl as a snap kit. Box is kind of faded and the kit is complete and unbuilt. Was this a one shot issue? Is it a desirable kit? I'm not into 1/32 scale stuff, but I told this friend that I'd ask around. Dave H
Ben
Yes, only issued one time. A very nice Replica of Les Shockley's Shockwave Peterbilt 379. Comes with three detailed jet engines. Edited September 21, 2013 by Ben
Bennyg
With a bit of work, you could make a great replica. Details to add would be disc brakes, closing of the cab from the jet engines, seat belts and a bit of flock for the dash. I sold my part built one as I lost interest in the project. Andrew
Friend of mine has the kit and used it to make a 1/25th version

olsbooks
Never knew there was such a kit. Have seen the real one a few times. Interesting to say the least. Check it out on youtube if you haven't already. Good luck with it!
Q tip
there were two versions of the real truck, painted as it is pictured on the box and the rebuilt truck was /is all white with orange fenders and roof cap. had the opertunity to get right up and personal with it at an air show. what a machine! you have to see it go down a runway with the afterburners going cause the only words I can think of is amazing.
