Dyno Davo Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Big thumbs up, awesome styling and tidy finish. Great color choices too
Alyn Posted October 3, 2013 Author Posted October 3, 2013 Thanks for the comments on the grille, Ryan, although I wished I would have taken more time laying out the bullets. I ended up crowding a few in on the ends to work around the headlights and center nose. Thanks, Jeff. my favorite engine yet Good to hear from you Virgil. Sorry I could work some grunge into this one. We have to deviate off the path occasionally Mike, I must say you look quite sporting in that outfit Thanks, David. BTW did you notice you're last name is misspelled?
Art Laski Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Looks great, Alyn! Somehow I missed the WIP, so I am going to go back and check it out. Fantastic engine!
Geno Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 It's a Pontiac, what' not to love? Beautiful build.
Alyn Posted October 7, 2013 Author Posted October 7, 2013 Thanks, Art. I appreciate your interest and value your opinion. Thany you, Gene. Agree with your sentiment 100%. I still remember cruising around in my 65 Gran Prix, nestled in an interior of chrome and wood.
Mooneyzs Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Alyn.... this is a beautiful build, very nice and clean. I am digging the detail to the engine and the two tone paint job. Nice job!
surfjunke Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 WOW! Beautiful build! The chop it just right, nicely done. The engine bay is awesome! Love the grill, too.
Alyn Posted October 10, 2013 Author Posted October 10, 2013 Thanks, Chris. The "nice and clean" comment seems simple, but always means alot more. Glad you checked in, John. I appreciate it. Scott, I'm an engine guy, so I'll take that "awesome" and put it on my top shelf. Thanks!
Mike 1017 Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Very nice build.Great engine detail. How long did it take you to build that grille?
