I'd keep the same color and LT trim bits if it were mine. There are enough Zed 28s on the road. Probably more than GM made originally.

Our 73 started life as an LT car...and that exact colour to boot, though ours had a white vinyl top though.

Its black with pearl orange zedder stripes now.

We were going to keep it an Lt but some of our badges were missing and they aren't reprod by anyone so we were unable to.

That said I still think it looks OK...

Also forgot to say, good job, looks like a great find. Always thought these were the best looking camaros until the 87-92 cars

Your camaro looks good. Like the stripes. Nice thing about this car is it is unmolested and still has all the original badging. I might build a model of it orange with silver or white stripes to see if I can convince the wife to leave it orange. But I am partial to the emerald green with silver stripes as well.
