Erik Smith
I am working on the wiring for my Revell 1990 Mustang LX, and there is no coil in the kit. Online reserach indicates it is located on the shock tower, driver's side of the engine bay. It appears to be under some sort of cover? I can't tell really what's going on, but the Revell kit doesn't represent either a coil or the cover, so does anybody have a clear picture or first hand knowledge of the set up? Aftermarket and nonstock set ups are easy to find - I can't get a good view of the stock set up. Thanks!!
gluebomb
Go to this website ecc.carquest.com/e-catalog.html. Then input the info, select ignition, input engine size, then a list of parts will apear, the red part number is what you click on to get picture. The item description is on the right of the part number. I hope this helps.
Agent G
32,33,34. The coil is under the black plastic cover. It is bolted to the front of the shock tower. G
Erik Smith
Thanks for the link and photo. I found a few shots searching "coil cover". It appears a emissions sticker is affixed to it also.
