Harry P. Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 (edited) I found these at the local home center last night. Incredibly handy to have around, and like they say in woodworking, you can never have too many clamps! They're perfect for clamping subassemblies like the engine block and trans in the photo...easier than tape or rubber bands. This set of 22 was only $3.98, which for the mathematically challenged among you is less than 20 cents apiece! What a deal! Edited November 13, 2007 by harrypri
Olle F Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Hey, that's neat! And they even come with a nice container to store them in. Gotta get me some of those!
67 GT-Five Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Say, could you do those of us that are desperate to find some a favor next time. Give us the store. Now don't get me wrong, I love the post, and am VERY glad it was made, but I spent last weekend searching all over w/ Ledsled Merc trying to find them with no results (At least, what we came back with wasn't what we went out for. Funny how it always works that way, huh?). Thanks Harrypri
67 GT-Five Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Call it a hunch, but that isn't exactly a nationwide chain is it? Because I've never even heard of one, and I live in The NorthEast. But thanks for the help lol.
67 GT-Five Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Menards is atleast semi national. I know they sponsor the #15 Nascar Sprint Cup Cevy for DEI. Well Is There One In Relative Distance To SouthEast MA Is All I'm Wondering.

Hi Harry, Iv'e had a pack of those for about 2 years, they're great for holding small parts for painting too. For you other Aussies, I bought mine at Bunnings, they're in the back of the tool section.
rattlehead71 Posted May 22, 2008 Posted May 22, 2008 I got mine from Northern Hydraulics. Harbor freights has them cheap, too. 3 different sizes. Extremely useful.
Harry P. Posted May 23, 2008 Author Posted May 23, 2008 Sorry, I guess I should have been more specific. Yes, I got them at Menard's, as someone else posted. It's a local home center chain (midwest only, I think). They're probably available at most home centers...Lowes, Home Depot, Menards...whichever one is in your area.
abedooley Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Whatever home center you do have in your area, go to their website and see if they have them on there, and if they do then see if they can order it from another store that does have them.
