t0ny Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 My next project is the Roth 56 F100. Not doing to much off the default plans, since this is my first model in years. The body was where I started. So here are a few pics of were I am. Not to thrilled with the way the wood looks! Any thoughts?
slusher Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Great shade of blue Tony, the wood does not look bad..looking forward to your build...
Ramfins59 Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Tony, you might be able to give the wood a dark wash to bring out the molded in grain a bit.
t0ny Posted October 21, 2013 Author Posted October 21, 2013 Thanks for your comments. I went out and bought a darker brown..... crossing my fingers
PappyD340 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Looks real good Tony, love the color, for the wood you could use some thinned down brown acrylic craft paint and make a brown wash out of it or Detail Master sells the Detailer washes which I use and like very much. This is just my opinion, but I would have sanded off the trademark on the bottom of the step. Look forward to more progress!!

I am looking to change their color since I am no to happy with the chrome, so I will try it out.
