Gregg Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 I am working on the resin Roswell Rod kit I featured in a recent MCM. The kit comes with a resin small block but I want to run one with more details and seperate pieces, and a good TH350 auto trans So, my question to all of you is: What kit has the best 1/24 scale small block Chevy 327 engine and TH350 auto trans? Here is a link to the feature in Rod and Custom: http://www.rodandcustommagazine.com/featur..._rod/index.html
Guest roadkill2525 Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 I would say the small block out of the R-M 86/87 Monte Carlo, you could just its a 305, 327, 350, 383 or any other size based off that block. They're visually the same from the outside.
VW Dave Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Mike's right, the Monte SS kit has a nicely-done smallblock. Gregg - If you need one of those Monte engines I have an unbuilt one I'm willing to donate to your project; email me and lemme know.
Gregg Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 I will see what I have in storage Have to go pay the bill anyway one thing about paradise, no more room, and storage is probably more than a studio apartment on the mainland Oh well :-) Thanks, Dave! I will let you know I appreciate it I will be working on it this weekend, I hope
