Very nice work. I've always wanted a dune buggy. Guess I'll have to put it on my bucket list. I can't wait to see it finished.

Thanks Tom !

I finished it today , just have to post the photos . :D

Just finished looking at this under glass, I know, I'm doing this backward. I love the pictures at the beginning of this thread showing the hidden detail. When I built mine I left the body detached from the frame so I could always show off the frame. I love this model! Nice job once again Bob.

Your buggy looks great Bob. I used to eat, sleep, breath air cooled VW's in the 80's and I picked up on the hydraulic clutch conversion immediately. Changing those clutch cables were a pain "back in the day", but I got good at shifting without the clutch......

When I was shopping for a project car years ago, I was looking for either a Barracuda or a Dune Buggy. I actually went and looked at a Dune Buggy and was ready to buy it, but the seller backed out. I had planned on a 2 liter turbo motor & full cage, but found the Barracuda the same week. Now I'm looking for a buggy again, but a sedate cruiser as the Wife wants a drop top/open ride.

Yeah...my model Buggy build will be the car I wanted to build 15 yrs. ago. Thanks for the inspiration!

I am impressed! You are doing a fabulous job with all the detail upgrades. It makes be want to build the Manx I have on the shelf in the basement.

Thanks Ed ! Go ahead and build it , we need more dune buggies here ! :D
