I used a mix of green. Tried for a few shades of lime green. "came out much darker" its close to a few pics I have seen, as for yellow it was a madrl master yellow. Kinda like yellow peak, but it to isn't spot on, lol

At last, After nearly 5 weeks an some BS about back order, received the new blower hat and 8 port Blower "It is smaller then I expected" , Also received the new green wiring, so I am back too this, I guess the Reher-Morrison is on the back burner now, I like too switch up, keeps from getting frustrated on any one build, lol Have a good weekend,,

Hello gang, wanted to shoot an update on the Green Elephant Vega f/c build, have the body at.about 80%, I applied the decals last night and today,was looking good,then this am I woke to find the front stripes had cracked an pulled back,this was due too the hump in the scoop.part, looked bad, I had to trim out the front of decal and hand paint the black section,and then dig out of my decal stash,an trim out green an yellow strips, worked lol. Here are a cpl picks, thinking about clearing with the floor wax deal, scared to use clear spray due too shrinking and wrinkling, also a pic of the engine, note the screen I made as bug screen on the hilborn, thanks for looking,

Alan... Nice work. It's looking good. I would of never guess the decals cracked. You can't. Even tell where it was that you fixed it. Nice work. Engine is looking good too. Keep up the great work on this.

Update, on green elephant decals and Floor wax clearing, it worked guys, I did the brush and poured some over the body, used paper towl edge to soak.up in the corners, and let it hang dry, she came out nice. I used Armstrong.floor and sealer. "dont use the.kind with stripper.in it" lol, but I can confirm it works nice, thanks and talk later

Ok, here are the G.Elephant pics, not too bad. Came out better then I thought, I went all out on this one. Now I didn't cut the back.window out and replace with glass because I seen in the late season thy did put a honey comb type cover in. This was to let smoke out..

Looks great. Did I read some where that you were up in Crystal river and there was a show sometime coming up. Im down in Tampa and haven't ever been to a model show, would be nice to see others work up close.

Yup Bob, I'm up in CR, about an hour from u, there is a show in jax-Ville this weekend. But nothing local, there is a model club in Ocala that heading meeting 1st sat of month, that's at hobby town USA,

Cool thanks for the info. As with most everything else in this world everything is on Saturday and nothing on Sundays, I own a motorcycle dealership and well you guessed it I work most Saturdays, story of my life. lol
