bogger44 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Ok guys, here's my build of the Model King Tempest. Just finished it last night. The only additions/mods I made were plug wires, opened up the collectors on the headers, and removed the license plate frames from the bumpers. Otherwise, it's OOB. Paint is Tamiya's Light Gunmetal. It was a fun build and didn't worry about putting too much detail into it. Thanks for looking.
Shardik Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Simple, clean and well executed. I like it.
Nitrozilla Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 I loves me some AWB. Great job, good detail on the gauges and so forth. Well done.
cobraman Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 I too am a fan of the AWB cars. These are pretty simple kits that build up nicely. Your looks very nice. Those bucket seats always seemed way to small to me.
nitro_force_fan Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Try the 'Contact Us' link on his website? http://www.scalemodelingbychris.com/ very nice!
bogger44 Posted November 25, 2013 Author Posted November 25, 2013 Thanks you guys. And I agree that the seat is on the small side in these kits.
Terminator-Fox Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Great looking Tempest. Where did you get the decals for the gauges?
bogger44 Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Thanks guys. Steve, I did the gauges with plain old Testors bottle paint, picking out the details with a toothpick. I was really happy with how they turned out, probably my best work so far in detailing gauges.
Terminator-Fox Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Oh wow! I for sure thought they were decals, nice work!
