1/32 Airfix Alfa Romeo 8C

Hi everyone, recently started work on my 1/32 Airfix Alfa Romeo. Going together pretty well, I have decided not to use the folded down top as per the kit as I think it looks aweful. I am going with a tonneau cover over the rear compartment as well.

The rear chassis cross member was missing but I have managed to get the dimensions and have made up a new one - I was wondering how to sort out the wheel mount but found out the spare wheel fits in rather snugly so no mount needed. Body and chassis have been primered and sprayed medium blue since the photo was taken - All the chrome work has been sprayed with alclad polished aluminium - I have had one bit of misfortune thought, I lost one of the wing lamps to the dreaded carpet monster - So for now it will be lampless, until I can find someone with spare lamps
