Dandydan Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 This one took a little different direction for me. I bought this kit on clearance and after getting it home and open, I found the roof and A pillars squashed, but no damage to the box.
Dandydan Posted December 23, 2013 Author Posted December 23, 2013 (edited) I wasn't entirely sure what to do with it at that point, but there was a recent article I read about NASCAR's early days. This, along with a spare NASCAR kit, inspired me to whack the roof off, straighten/fix the pillars and windshield frame, and start mocking it up. Plans are to use the NASCAR drivetrain, wheels, a roll bar, dash, and racing seats. Edited December 23, 2013 by Dandydan
Newbs99 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 What color are you leaning towards to paint it with? Also, I can't wait to see the final product. -Newbs99

Dandydan Posted January 7, 2014 Author Posted January 7, 2014 (edited) Its been a little while but I laid some blue paint, started some foil, and robbed a couple racing seats and a few other race inspired interior items. Edited January 8, 2014 by Dandydan

Dandydan Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 (edited) Thanks Carl! This is after getting the interior in and just a few contingency decals on-I didn't want to over do it. Edited January 12, 2014 by Dandydan
