Help w/ Porsche Wheels

While gathering parts for my Barracuda build, I was thinking about another neat car I owned. Back in the `80's I owned a period correct Cal Look Beetle. It was a Porsche India Red `67 sedan on a `68 IRS pan, disc brakes, 1835cc, twin Webers, etc…. I had acquired a set of Porsche 914 alloys and was wondering if they are available in 1/25.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have never seen any and I am a Porsche guy. The Revell 914 had five spoke Fuchs.

I know Entex (???) did a large scale 914 with these wheels. I don't recall ever seeing them in 1/25 either. Just throwing it out there…..

I have a couple of those 1/20 Entex 914's. Ones a kinda glue bomb. let me check on those wheels. Maybe someone would like to cast them?

Being a Cal-look guy myself, I figure that nothing other than what you ran on your 1:1 will do. Hideo Motohashi might be able to make you a set, however, its pricey. His production unpainted aluminum BRM's go for about $20 a set U.S. others can go for over 300.

Those painted & polished BRM's look incredible, but $336 !?!?! HOLY %$#@ !!!!!!

Funny thing is I bought all 4 Porsche rims back in `82 for a $100 from someone with a bad "habit" back in the day…. Now I'd have to be his dealer to afford a scale set!
