The Creative Explorer Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Again OOB, nothing very special.
Robert81 Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Nice tuner, the graphics are sweet. I don't know why but tuners don't get the love they deserve. In all honestly tuners are modern Hotrods.
The Creative Explorer Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 The graphics came with the kit. Normally I am not favourable for a lot of stickerrrs on a car, but this would look cool

jamie Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 I think the reason that tuners get no respect is that you see so many 1:1 tuners done so poorly on the cheap. When a traditional hot rod gets done on the cheap it has character. When a tuner is done on the cheap it looks like a bunch of warped plastic. A tuner well done is a whole different animal! If the ones on the street in my area looked like what Steef built that would be different. So, great job Steef and maybe you'll help tuners get some respect! I agree.....I can only take so many wings and seatbelt cushions with those annoying sparkly flame stickers...on a '82 Corolla! Ugh.... And the blue LEDs on the windshield wiper nozzles! Now, don't get me wrong, I had a Jetta that I wanted to hook up very much so, but just didn't have the cash to do it right. Fantastic Model! I built that kit for my brother in law, who has an Eclipse. It built up pretty quickly. Great job on it! Jamie
The Creative Explorer Posted December 5, 2007 Author Posted December 5, 2007 Thanks guys. And I have to agree. The worst part of the Tuner-cars are the people who drive it. Most of them is fine, but there is a certain group that screws it all up for the rest of the scene. Doing a lot of frontwheel burn-outs, ultimate loud music, hanging in the middle of the car, with the left pols on the 12 o'clock position of the steeringwheel, you know what I mean. And then a lot of parts not even painted, only primered on the car. If only 80% of them took it all a bit more serious....
