This is my entry for the 2014 Cannonball Run. So enough jabbering and let's get into the kit. the kit itself. The body in primer . The body in color after the wet sanding of the primer

Great start! I have this kit as well and I'll be following this build with great interest. What kind of paint did you use for the green? I like that color.

Back at the bench and here is some updates on the Chevell

The interior:

The chassis pan, I sprayed the textured paint over the primer and then the flat black on top of the textured paint.

The engine block painted body color

The body after a few coats of clear. Still trying to find a good wax to use and will be getting some bmf to try on it.

it's an awesome kit, the next kit I'm doing I'm going to be adding custom parts on it. I have a 572 in mind and a cowl/outlaw hood I'm going to get. I'm going to attempt some custom made touches to it as best as I can.

Have the tail lenses sitting in smoke by tamiya trying to get the darker looking effect on the tail lenses
