Mkslow Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Here I have another build I'm starting. 55 cameo shop/beater truck. Hopefully I figure out weathering with this one. Just set up the stance. Thinking basically box stock minus maybe adding plug wires and the weathering. Wish I could get it to go lower but I don't think it looks bad the way it sits
slusher Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Stance looks good to me how it sits. Keep up the good work..
Bartster Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Looks like a fun project. When weathering these trucks, some folks forget the exterior bed sides were fiberglass & don't rust. Can't wait to see your progress.
Mkslow Posted January 6, 2014 Author Posted January 6, 2014 Thanks guys and yea I did a little research after I bought the kit and figured out they were fiberglass. Thanks for the heads up though!
bpletcher55 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 THATS A NICE START , I,V WANTED TO WEATHER FIBERGLASS ON THESE TRUCKS ,HAVE NOT DONE ONE YET,
JTalmage Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 I really want to build another one of these. I built one many years ago as a kid w/ my dad, and painted nothing on it lol
Mkslow Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 Little update. Just finished paint the chassis and my Pegasus hobbies reverse style wheels just came in. Maybe heading in a different direction. Who knows lol. And sorry for the sideways pics lol it sometimes does that
Mkslow Posted January 20, 2014 Author Posted January 20, 2014 Ok more work that I didn't expect to do lol. Motor is finished, everything is on. Time for bodywork and paint. Only thing is I seem to have misplaced the glass...so if anyone has any please let me know!
