What tubbed chassis can I use on a 1968 dart body?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have a 1968 dart body and im wondering what chassis I could use that would fit with little to no modification that is fully tubbed. 1955 chevy? nova pro street? even if I were to use the rear part and graft the stock chassis to the back of the tubbed one. Thanks very much

I would have to check, but the 66 nova may drop in. you can back half it with the super bee/ road runner/ GTX chassis with minimal trimming. I have a 69 dart pro street project stuffed back in the box but I scratched the frame, I started with the pro stock firebird rear tubs . will get back to you. I know my buddy does one. he sells on ebay under Jerome's house of resin, I think that's what it is.

If you want your Dart to set down nice and low, I would recommend a chassis from a pro stock kit. I have a '68 Dart kit and every pro stock kit ever made. I can find out which chassis will work for you.

If you don't need a ground hugger, I would buy the pro street '70 Super Bee. That way, you'll have all of the parts you need to complete it. If you shop around, you can score the kit for about the same money as a resin chassis will cost.
