wheelingmountaineer
I have an issue when I try to apply the decals on the rims for my model cars. Once I put them on they don't seem to "stick" very well as if I were putting them on a painted part. Would anyone have advice on how I can get them to "stick" better? Thanks Chris Edited January 13, 2014 by wheelingmountaineer
935k3
Try putting Future under any decal that will not stick, it glues them down well when dry. Clean any excess of with ammonia. You can apply the Future with a Q-tip
lordairgtar
I think ammonia will eat chrome.
vypurr59
Clear coat, where the decal is supposed to go, may have to brush, or mask carefully, but the decal will stick to the clear coat.
JohnU
I use decal setting solusion. Melts right in and stays put after it dries.
