C6 Vette ('08)

Built for someone very special as a birthday present. (Our illustrious host also personally knows the owner of this 430 HP luxury performance ride...)

Used an '05 kit, but made some minor changes to make it kind of into an '08, still I'd say it is an OOB build.

looks good but one MINOR critique, it looks as if you used the 4 spoke wheel from the 05 kit? if so that wheel was phased out by the 05/06 year. the 08 car has the same steering wheel as the Z06 i believe which is one inch smaller in diameter and has 3 spokes. i also believe that same wheel is in the pontiac solstice roadster which is in 1/25 scale but it is a diecast from mastio. other than that it looks nice .

i really like it!!! i did up a C-6 vette just like the one we got in for a customer earlier this year, but his was a sunset orange, and it was an automatic. I got to say, i was a bit dissapointed in it. wasn't much "poop" there when i did a little tap dance on the throttle, and the ride was rather ridgid. other then that, it wasn't too bad. i think i was more impressed with the '08 SS Impala's, and especially the SS trail blazer, now those are FUN!!!!!! Not much new for the '08's as far as the 'Vette's go, some real minor items.

I am not crazy about white Vettes but there's no denying the beautiful job you did on this one Nice and clean!!!!!

Nice build! You can get the later steering wheel from the Z06 and send me the rest of the kit
