This looks like a great place to get advice. Good thing, too, as I could use some help.

I want to airbrush some Testors Model Master acrylic paint. Do I need to use a primer first? If so, which primer?

Thanks!

Welcome, Spyder!

I'm sure one of our resident air brush guru's can answer this one better than me.

I haven't used the Testors Acrylic paints yet

But I do primer almost everything before I paint

The Tamiya Primers are the best, but expensive

Napa has some cheap primer surfacers that work great, as does Bondo, Dupli-Color and others

Get primer surfacer, lacquer prefered, and use very light coats
