Jon Cole Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 This looks like a great place to get advice. Good thing, too, as I could use some help. I want to airbrush some Testors Model Master acrylic paint. Do I need to use a primer first? If so, which primer? Thanks! Spyder
Gregg Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Welcome, Spyder! I'm sure one of our resident air brush guru's can answer this one better than me. I haven't used the Testors Acrylic paints yet But I do primer almost everything before I paint The Tamiya Primers are the best, but expensive Napa has some cheap primer surfacers that work great, as does Bondo, Dupli-Color and others Get primer surfacer, lacquer prefered, and use very light coats
